Lokalhouz is Malay operated Western food restaurant located at the newly renovated Bagan 1917 Market. Bagan1917 located adjacent to the one of the oldest public market at Jalan Pasar, Butterworth.The building complex used to be called Mara Bazar and during the 80's, it was a very popular place for the community. Through the recent years, it got dilapidated and unsafe. Today, the outled has been given a new life by the collaborative effort of Mara, ThinkCity and MBSP Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai. We ordered one of their signature dish the maple smoked duck (RM 19.90) and fish & chips (RM 16.90). The food is delicious and the ambience pleasant. Lokalhouz is the perfect place to bring your family or date for a quiet evening out.

Really good place to chill with friends and family. Huge parking spot. Food overall okay. Mushroom soup is delicious. Meatball okay. Apple juice so good. You can taste the green Apple, not sugar. I was considering to order second cup that time. Lol. No dessert spotted.
